Happy April! Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays-- I surely did, and I even got so excited when I received the ViVi Ring Collection from OLENS. The ViVi Ring Collection has been there for as long as I can remember, and they decided to add a new color to the family, the ViVi Ring OLIVE! Before we get in depth with each color, let me tell you about the specifications of the 5 previous colors (Gray, Beige, Choco, Brown & Pink): ❋ Pattern: An iconic edge line filled with a soft and creamy shade, bringing out a natural romantic look. ❋ Material (Monthly): HEMA with 38% water content; the traditional material for contacts, more suitable for longer use with its increased durability, and does not easily adhere to dust particles. ❋ Size: 14.00mm in Diameter, 13.00mm Graphic Diameter ❋ Duration: Daily (10p or 20p) and Monthly (2 lenses/box) ❋ Price: $21 for Daily (10p), $34 for Daily (20p) and $29 for Monthly Buy One Get One (2 lenses/box) VIVI RING OLIVEWhat's New in ViVi Ring Olive? ❋ Pattern: The same natural soft and creamy shade with the iconic edge line, bringing out a natural romantic look. I noticed how the ViVi Ring Olive gives so much more depth to the eyes with the mix of different natural colors. ❋ Material (Daily): PUSCON-- biocompatible hydrophilic material that is KFDA approved. ❋ Size: 13.1mm Graphic Diameter, 0.1mm bigger than the older colors but still maintaining that natural enlarging look. I really love how it gives a fresh pop of color to my eyes! The olive color isn't too powerful, and it's just enough to bring a natural look to my eyes. It actually gives off a combination of brown and olive effect, meaning it blends so well with my natural eyes. If you have a dark colored iris like mine, this would be so perfect for you. I could see myself wearing this on a daily basis, so I'm really looking forward to OLENS releasing a Monthly version of the ViVi Ring Olive! VIVI RING GRAYThe ViVi Ring Gray is a classic dark gray shade that adds depth to the eyes, it looks classy, timeless and elegant-- something you could wear to romantic date nights. VIVI RING BEIGENow this color surprised me! While I had been eyeing the ViVi Ring Beige for some time now, this is actually the first time I finally tried it. It gives off a bright yellowish-beige tone to the eyes, and I really love light brown colors so this one is added to my long list of favorite contacts from OLENS! I also find it similar to the Russian Smoky Brown by OLENS. VIVI RING CHOCOThe ViVi Ring Choco is by far the closest color to my natural eyes. I love how it accentuates the edges of my eye, as it speaks for what it's known for-- the iconic edge line! FUN FACT: I actually wore this to my passport appointment since they didn't allow colored lenses and they were fine with it. VIVI RING BROWNThis is a subtle version of the ViVi Ring beige, a more natural shade to wear everyday and I would actually wear this on a daily basis. It's the right pop of color which I absolutely love! Currently, this is the best-selling color in Korea because this is good for any occasion! vivi ring pinkWhen I heard pink, I was a bit intimidated. However, after trying it on, I actually regret not trying this on earlier! The shade of pink they chose for the ViVi Ring is absolutely perfect. It is a subtle pastel pink color that comes off as a light gray color. I love this color so much and I never expected to. VIVI RING COLOR COMPARISONAll the colors are equally gorgeous, and the ViVi Ring in Olive is just the addition it needed. I honestly think that the ViVi Ring Olive is absolutely worth trying, so don't miss out and try it! You could even change different colors according to your mood.
Which color are you eyeing the most? ;)
